The PEOPLE’S CULTURAL CENTRE gained popularity as "PECUC" for its sincere efforts to grow as a ladder of people’s development, being founded on the 17th day of July 1990.

Over the last decade PECUC has worked its way up through competitive struggles, challenges, opportunities and scopes with higher frequencies.

The organisation's task force has been devoting a strenuous effort for fostering the objects and mission of PECUC in the way of establishing the credibility of PECUC through out Orissa. In-depth evaluation by external agencies has also been so, that PECUC does not fail a prey to self-adulteration and self-righteousness.

The attributes of social development as empirically proved are quality of management, quality of services, innovativeness, long-term social investment value, financial soundness, ability to attract, development of people’s talent, responsibility to the community and the environmental and wise use of infrastructure and resources.

Needless to say, meaningful contacts and interactions with the State, National and International development agencies have strengthened the confidence of PECUC in carrying out the activities in a dignified direction.
