The rights of women, children, dalit and tribal continued to suppressed and denied. They are deprived of basic human right due to their poor capacity, social exclusion and irresponsible governance. PECUC is working for the promotion and protection of human rights through organizing awareness programmes, training and workshops, information dissemination and teaching human rights education in formal schools. Fact findings teams are constituted to report and document violation of human rights in the sate. Networks have been formed to advocate and lobby for protection of human rights and effective implementation of human rights law.
