Jyotiranjan’s father studied up to STD 3 and his mother is an illiterate women, his family is very poor. The only resource of their livelihood is they have a tiny shop at the road side. Due to less income Jyotiranjan had to work at hotel, wash plates of people who come and eat in the hotel. The incident came into sight of the Sisu Sabha member of PECUC.
Then PECUC voluntaries requested his parents to send Jyotiranjan to school. But his Parents denied as Jyoti was a good helping hand for them and they cannot effort to keep another helper due to lack of money and their son is fulfilling that gap by working in their hotel.
Later on the sisu sabha member played an influential role and persuaded his father to let Jyotiranjan to attend school and stop working as a helper in his hotel. Jyotiranajn attended a camp organized by PECUC at Khamuah. After returning from the camp he regularly went to school as well as come to Shradhabhavan. With the support of his parents he completed Standard 7th and he is regularly attending school.
