PECUC is committed towards safeguarding their rights, providing care and protection, and cultivating an environment where their well-being, dignity, and societal inclusion are prioritised. PECUC has thoroughly looked the various dimensions of old age and the associated challenges, formulating comprehensive strategies to address them. Initiatives such as the "Adopt a Grandparent" sponsorship programme, the promotion of elderly self-help groups, the "Alternative Source for Help and Action" (ASHA) programme, as well as fostering convergence and linkages to social security measures, exemplify PECUC's dedication to supporting the elderly population.
