Capacity Building of GKS  (Surabhi)

Objective:

• To capacitate G.K.S members to identify local health problems & to take necessary steps for ensuring a healthy & hygienic village.
• To enable G.K.S members to prepare a village health plan with the participation of community.

Coverage Area:

Bhubaneswar block &Balianta block of Khordha district, Odisha

Outcome:

• 203 GKS activated to know how to prepare the Village Health plan, identify the health issues and respond the problems.
• 176 Aww aware their role and responsibility.
• 152 ASHA Aware their role and responsibility.
• 177 PRI also aware about their role and responsibility, Issued raised in different plat form like panchayat meeting, gram sabha, Palli sabha etc.
• 314 SHG leaders, village leaders also know the Gaon Kalyan   Samiti role and responsibility.
• Anganwadi workers properly writing GKS resolution & Cashbook.
• They are doing their monthly action plan on the basis of annual action plan.
• PRI members & other members verified the budget, accounts, bill/voucher &
• activity Work.
